About This Activity
Description
It’s another great day at the zoo, and the arrival of a new resident has everyone wild with excitement! But when the animals learn their zoo is in trouble, panic ensues. Will the animals join paws, hooves, and wings to save their beloved home? Join us for a high-flying adventure about the power of teamwork and being yourself.
Designed for students at all levels of theatre experience, campers will audition, rehearse, and perform a musical alongside three professional teaching artists...in one week! The Great Zoo Escape is a brand-new 50-minute production with script by Katie Colletta and music by Jason Sifford.
Note: This week of camp will be held off-site at City High, 1900 Morningside Drive, Iowa City.
A public performance is held on Friday evening at 6:30 pm. A camp t-shirt and tickets to the final performance are included in your registration. Campers will need to bring a sack lunch and a water bottle each day.
