About This Activity
Description
It’s a brand new year at the School for Spies, an elite training program for spy recruits, run by the Global Intelligence Agency. But when the powerful Moon Cube goes missing under the GIA’s watch, the School is thrown into turmoil. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to join a world of secret agents and espionage to crack the case. Choose your allies wisely and keep your ears and eyes open… all is not as it seems at the School for Spies!
Designed for students at all levels of theatre experience, campers will audition, rehearse, and perform a musical alongside three professional teaching artists...in one week! The School for Spies is a brand-new 50-minute production with script by Katie Colletta and music by Jason Sifford.
A public performance is held on Friday evening at 6:30 pm. A camp t-shirt and tickets to the final performance are included in your registration. Campers will need to bring a sack lunch and a water bottle each day.
Full day camp option available!
Scholarships are available for every student in need through the Charlie Bates Memorial Scholarship. To request a scholarship, visit CoralvilleArts.org/scholarships.Theatre is a team sport. Our expectation is that all students are present for all rehearsals and the performance during camp week. Because we know that life sometimes gets in the way, this policy will help you answer questions from camp families.
Footliters Traveling Playhouse can only accept students who will:
- Be present for the final performance
- Be present for the Tuesday rehearsal
- Be absent for absolutely no more than 6 hours of rehearsal time, with approval from your camp’s lead teaching artist by Monday (or in advance!)
Campers will need to bring a sack lunch and a water bottle each day.
