Preschool Aquatics teaches aquatic and safety skills in a logical progression. Children entering this course must have a PS II certificate or be able to demonstrate all of the completion requirements from PS II. The objectives of PS III are to build upon the skills learned in PS II by providing additional guided practice. Children learn to effectively coordinate combined simultaneous arm and leg actions. Upon successful completion of all three levels of Preschool Aquatics and the child has reached the age of 5 they can enter Red Cross Level 3. Please note Red Cross Level 3 will be taught in 3'5" of water and deeper.
This course must have a PS II certificate or be able to demonstrate all of the completion requirements from PS II. Children should be comfortable in a group learning situation and be able to stand alone in 2'8" depth of water.
