Join us on weekly adventures as we practice skills for various food acquisition skills and sit around a cozy campfire and cook our food! Throughout the term we will: fish, learn traps building, historical uses, and ethics, forage at various sites, practice archery, and practice camp cooking! We will learn to identify various edible plants and foods from nature and process them as a class together. Our basecamp has a permanent fire ring and a large canvas tarp shelter to provide a warm atmosphere in winter, while we’ll adventure out for ingredients on warm days.Middle schoolers in the school system are welcome to join; we can accommodate late arrivals.
