Students ride trails every day, learning to navigate trees, rocks, roots, and hills. Bike maintenance and proper gear are covered. Basic bike skills required. Students should have proper gear including helmet and well-maintained bike with 1.7 inch width tires and at least 12 speed gears. This camp isn't appropriate for e-bikes. If you need ideas for renting, borrowing or purchasing a bike contact Dan Coyle at 541-760-0774. All profit goes to Team Dirt, a local nonprofit that builds trails. Bring a bike, helmet, snacks, lunch and water. Ages 8-11.Locations:Mon/Tue at Townsend Shelter in Avery Park.
Wed at Peavy ArboretumThur at Lewisburg Saddles Friday at Alsea Falls (meet at Townsend Shelter in Avery Park. Coyle Outside will provide transport). You'll receive an email before camp begins with more details. Parents/guardians to provide transportation to the various sites except Friday.
MUST HAVE YOUR OWN BIKE and HELMET to participate in this week of local adventures.Each camper must bring a lunch, snacks and a water bottle for each day of camp.
