Learn to shred some trail like a pro! Students ride trails every day, developing skills throughout the week. Learn to navigate trees, rocks, roots, and hills. We begin by assessing skill level in a local park and progress to riding local MTB trail favorites. Bike maintenance and proper gear are covered. Basic bike skills required. Students should have proper gear including helmet and well-maintained bike with 1.7 inch width tires and at least 12 speed gears. This camp isn't appropriate for e-bikes. If you need ideas for renting, borrowing or purchasing a bike contact Dan Coyle at 541-760-0774. All profit goes to Team Dirt, a local nonprofit that builds trails. Bring a bike, helmet, snacks, lunch and water. Ages 10-14.Locations:Mon/Tue at Townsend Shelter in Avery Park.
Wed at Peavy ArboretumThur at Lewisburg Saddles Friday at Alsea Falls (meet at Townsend Shelter in Avery Park. Coyle Outside will provide transport). You'll receive an email before camp begins with more details. Parents/guardians to provide transportation to the various sites except Friday.
