About This Activity
This 10-session homeschool program is not to be missed. Build. Cool. Stuff! Then apply your skills to set up a bushcraft village! Ingrid “Truffle” and Reed “Taproot” will guide participants through immersive, hands-on bushcraft projects. What would you need to build to live comfortably outdoors? Torches and tool-making, bushcraft shelters and furniture, a whittled kitchen set for firecooking, and more - this class is designed to be student-led and experiential, with instructors maximizing time for participants to make what they want to make and help being their ideas into the world. Bushcraft skills are being built to set up a base camp village on Starker forests in a follow-up class, where they can adorn the site with shelters, fires, and use the tools they made in the class! Field trips TBD based on enrollment
