Coyle Outside’s youngest explorers spend their time playing, discovering new interpersonal skills, developing imaginations and physical capacities through exploring the natural world around them. This program is intentionally child-led and play based, with daily goals, themes, and a consistent daily rhythm. A typical day looks like: Parent drop off/check in, an open-ended activity, circle time, walk/adventure, seasonal activity, snack, walk/adventure, pick up time between 12:15-12:30pm. Based on theories and practices associated with the Forest School movement & books such as "Last Child in the Woods”. This program is for ages 2.5 to 6 Instructor/student ratio 1:5 This is designed as a drop off/pick up program, and we are able to support participants individually with drop off on a case-by-case basis. Participants should be potty trained or nearly there.
