About This Activity
Beginning Strings I is a learn-to-play class for children in 1st through 5th grades who would like to learn violin, viola, or cello. Musicians who successfully complete Beginning Strings I and II will be ready to join our Debut Orchestra! Students will need to obtain a quality, correctly sized instrument prior to the first class. We recommend Hammond Ashley Violins in Issaquah; other options include Music & Arts and Ted Brown Music. Tuition assistance is available.
