About This Activity
MVYSO's Summer Ensemble is a great introduction to a youth symphony, with fun music and rewarding community performances, including the fireworks show at Lake Wilderness. Rehearsals are Monday nights at Kentwood High School Performances: Wednesday, June 24, noon, Covington Community Park Saturday, June 27, 11 AM, Maple Valley Farmers Market Friday, July 3, 10 PM, Lake Wilderness Summer Ensemble participants should be able to play grade 3/medium difficulty pieces with practice. *Saxophones: Saxophone parts are not available in every piece we play, so doubling on another instrument is recommended.
