About This Activity
Description
Ages 8-12
In this class, the kids will learn about different habitats and the animals that live in them, while exploring how pollution, deforestation, and climate change are threatening wildlife. They’ll play a Habitat Match game, create their own Wildlife Protector Badges, and design a “perfect habitat” for an endangered animal. Through hands-on activities and group discussion, students will discover how they can help protect animals and their environment.
This program is run by a Girl Scout working on their Gold Award, guided by their Troop Leader or other adult supervisor.
