About This Activity
Description
Ages 8-12
In this class, the kids will learn how their everyday choices affect the planet by calculating their carbon footprint and talking about simple ways to live more sustainably. Then, they’ll head outside for a fun nature scavenger hunt to explore the environment and connect with nature. Through games like Sustainability Bingo and hands-on activities, the kids will walk away with a better understanding of how to protect the Earth.
This program is run by a Girl Scout working on their Gold Award, guided by their Troop Leader or other adult supervisor.
