Ages 6-11
Join MicroWise, a student-led educational workshop that helps children explore the issue of microplastics and their impact on the environment. Through hands-on activities and demonstrations, participants will learn what microplastics are, where they come from, and how they affect oceans, wildlife, and human health.
This program is led by a high school sophomore from West Windsor-Plainsboro High School North and a member of Future Problem Solving (FPS). This organization encourages students to design and implement community-based projects. The goal of this project is to raise awareness about microplastic pollution and inspire environmental responsibility in younger students.
