About This Activity
This FREE Arts for All Kentucky grant-funded Side by Side program is designed to offer a creative outlet for students with disabilities, reinforce inclusiveness and positive self-image, and highlight the importance of arts education in the development of our youth. This year’s program will be a series of four classes diving into the wonders of the ocean and life under the sea. Students will have the opportunity to work with clay, glaze, paper, and paint. Each student will be paired with a local artist, with whom they will work side by side to create a collaborative work of art. The session concludes with an art show for family and friends in the OCSAC Art Gallery after class on the last day.
