About This Activity
If you love to sing, or want to learn how to sing, this camp is for you! Daily sessions will cover vocal techniques such as tone quality, breath support and techniques, as well as introducing ear training and sight-reading skills including solfegge. We will work on fun musical pieces to sing as a group in 2-part harmony and present a performance at the end of the week. This camp is a great place to work on your vocal skills for musical theatre auditions, or give choir a try before joining your school choir or Oldham County Youth Choir in the Fall. Instructor: Amanda McGehee This camp may be combined with these 9am-12pm camps: Art Mania (Gr. 1-5) OR Comics & Cartooning (Gr. 4-9) OR Frozen Musical Revue (Gr. 2-4) *** A minimum $50 deposit each camp is due at sign-up (non-refundable). *** The remaining balance is due by first day of camp.
