About This Activity
Beginning Clarinet Camp is the perfect opportunity for first-year band students to learn the basics of playing the clarinet. Students will learn how to care for their instrument, review reading music, play songs, and more. Students will need to bring a functioning clarinet and reeds to camp every day. The Arts Center does not provide clarinets or reeds. Instruments can be rented from local music stores or through your school band program. Contact your band director to find out how to rent through your school band program. Family and friends are encouraged to attend a special concert on Friday afternoon to year the Beginning and Intermediate Clarinet camp students perform. Instructor: Amanda McGehee May be combined with these 1:00-4:00pm camps: -2D Animation Studio 2 (Gr. 4-9) -Nature Art (Gr. K-5) **Minimum $50 deposit due at registration (non-refundable)** **Balance due by first day of camp. You will receive an invoice by email which can be paid online OR bring cash, check or card to camp on Monday.**
