About This Activity
Improvisation is a crucial skill to have in live theatre performance. You never know when a prop will disappear, or someone misses a cue! It’s unplanned moments like these that put an actor’s improvisational ability to the test. In this engaging summer camp, students will learn new improv games each day, and act out hilarious scenarios and madcap characters! They will also learn the fundamentals that make an improv scene interesting and effective. And of course, this camp will conclude with a live improv performance, complete with audience suggestions! Instructor: Makayla Sharp May be combined with these 9:00am-12:00pm camps: Teen Audition Prep (Gr. 7-12) OR Nature Drawing & Watercolor (Gr. 6-12) *** A minimum $50 deposit for each camp is due at sign-up (non-refundable). *** The remaining balance is due by first day of camp.
