About This Activity
Make a mess, make a masterpiece! Campers will dive hands-first into the world of clay, creating both functional and sculptural works of art. Whether they’re new to ceramics or already have some experience, every student gets personalized guidance and plenty of time on the wheel. From mugs and bowls to imaginative creatures and creative masterpieces, students will learn wheel throwing and hand building techniques using food-safe, microwave-safe, and dishwasher-safe Cone 6 clay and glazes. No experience needed, just creativity and curiosity! Pieces must be kiln-fired and will be ready for pick-up 1-2 weeks after camp. Instructor: Jessica Guinn May be combined with: Mini Masterpieces 1 (Gr. K-5), 9:00am-12:00pm OR Fairy Tale Theatre 1 (Gr. 3-6), 9:00am-12:00pm *** A minimum $50 deposit for each camp is due at sign-up (non-refundable). *** The remaining balance is due by first day of camp.
