About This Activity
Dive into the exciting world of pottery! In this hands-on camp, young artists will explore clay by hand-building, trying out the potter’s wheel to create unique and functional works of art—from cups and mugs to bowls and plates. Campers will grow their skills, experiment with different techniques, and have loads of fun getting their hands messy! Best of all, their finished pieces will be food-safe (dishwasher, microwave, and refrigerator safe), making them perfect for everyday use. Beginner and experienced potters are welcome! All pottery will be fired and ready for pickup at the Arts Center two weeks after camp. Let’s get muddy and make a masterpiece! Instructor: Jessica Guinn May be combined with these 1:00-4:00pm camps: Fairy Tale Theatre (Gr. 3-6) OR Sing! Musical Revue (Gr. 2-5) OR Rock Band Camp (ages 8-14) OR Color Camp (Gr. K-5) *** A minimum $50 deposit for each camp is due at sign-up (non-refundable). *** The remaining balance is due by first day of camp.
