About This Activity
Students will receive intensive training in: Audition preparation, solo, chamber music, and chamber orchestra performance. Masterclasses and student performances will be offered daily. All ages of string students accepted. Recommendation is for students to be Suzuki book 5 level or higher and to have a private teacher recommendation. Scholarship applications accepted. (Contact the office to request an application). In addition to OCSAC Strings Faculty, students will have the opportunity to learn from guest artists from the Louisville Orchestra and NouLou Chamber Players Instructors: Brittany MacWilliams, Felix Borges, Sam Meade & Guest Clinicians *Advanced students who register for both OCSAC String Camp & LaPS Intensive will receive a discount for the 2-week combination. *** A minimum $50 deposit each camp is due at sign-up (non-refundable). *** The remaining balance is due by first day of camp.
