About This Activity
Students will learn to throw on the pottery wheel and explore hand-building techniques to create functional dinnerware like bowls, cups, and plates, as well as sculptural and artistic clay pieces. Campers will experiment with form, texture, and glaze design while building technical skills and personal style.This camp is all about creativity, craftsmanship, and getting your hands dirty in the best way! All clay and glazes are food-safe, microwave-safe, and dishwasher-safe. No experience needed, just creativity and curiosity! Pieces must be kiln-fired and will be ready for pick-up 1-2 weeks after camp. Instructor: Jessica Guinn This camp may be combined with these 1:00-4:00pm camps: -Nature Drawing & Watercolor (Gr. 6-12) -Sci -Fi Scenes (Gr. 7-12) -Best Friends Dance Camp (Gr. 3-6) *** A minimum $50 deposit for each camp is due at sign-up (non-refundable). *** The remaining balance is due by first day of camp.
