About This Activity
Central States Development Hockey League (CSDHL), now the largest and most competitive youth hockey league in Illinois. At the direction of the Hockey Director, teams are made through evaluation selection committees during tryouts. Highest rated players make the 1st team, with the next level of players making the 2nd team and so forth. Individual player ice time is at the discretion of the coaching staff and will be decided with the ultimate goal of improving both YJ player and team development. CSDHL Teams can expect to be on the ice 3 to 5 times per week and include off ice workouts and skills sessions with professional coaches. Tryouts are at the middle of August, with practices and games beginning in September, and ending in February.
