See the language. Feel the culture. Build real connection.Have you ever wanted to learn American Sign Language (ASL)? Join our interactive class taught by Mario & Cynthia Ascencio in a fun, welcoming, and safe environment.
This class series is designed to strengthen both your expressive and receptive ASL skills while introducing you to meaningful insights about Deaf Culture and the Deaf World. No prior experience necessary - beginners are welcome!
Learning ASL can enhance your awareness of body language, improve spatial skills, and open the door to deeper human connection. ASL is a fully visual language and is accessible to deaf, hard of hearing, and some nonverbal individuals - making it a powerful tool for communication and inclusion.
You'll gain:-Foundational ASL communication skills-A deeper understanding of Deaf Culture-Insight into the lived experiences and statistics of deaf and hard of hearing communities -The confidence to continue your ASL journey beyond the classroom
Bring your family, friends, or coworkers and learn together! When you practice, you progress - use it and grow it.
Open to all ages 10+ (exceptions made for child with family member who is deaf)
*Classes are tailored to each session's group; feel free to take multiple sessions/months and build, practice your skills.
**Children 10 and under must have an adult register and participate with them
