About This Activity
Description
The 3v3 pickup basketball league "Hoop There It Is" is an in-house basketball league compromised of male participants, 11-14 years old. The primary purpose of the 3v3 league is to accelerate individual player development, maximize ball touches, and provide a fast paced, high engagement alternative to traditional 5v5 play. All participants must be ages 11-14 by December 1, 2026.
Games will take place each Sunday between 2:00 - 4:00 pm at the Culpeper County Fieldhouse (16388 Competition Drive).
All games will be officiated by department staff. Teams must have a minimum of four (4) players and a maximum of five (5) players. All games will be 20 minutes in length or the first team to 21 points.
All participants will register individually. Registration is $20.00 per participant. Uniforms/jerseys will NOT be provided for this league. Teams will be given a color to wear as a team.
If you have a team already, please designate your team captain and/or team name on the custom question when registering. If you are a free agent, please designate "NO TEAM" on the custom questions and you will be drafted to a team based on need. **Free agents will only be assigned to a team on an as needed basis.
