SIGN UP FOR AGES 5-6The CCPR Summer Youth Basketball League is a youth inhouse basketball league for males and females aged 5-12. All age divisions are coed. The primary mission of this league is to promote the game of basketball to youth and practice positive sportsmanship between teams. This is a developmental league that will stress on the fundamentals of basketball and getting ready for more competitive play in the future. CCPR does not honor requests for specific coaches, teams, and/or moving up/down age divisions.
Registration includes a game jersey and game shorts. CCPR staff will officiate all U6 games. Players for this age group must be ages 5-6 by July 1, 2026.
Practices will take place the first two weeks followed by games only on Friday evenings for the remainder of the season.
Season Dates:Parent Meeting: Wednesday June 17, 2026 5:30pm-6:00pm**There is no player assessment/draft for this age group.Practices begin Friday, June 26, 2026First games will be on Friday, July 17, 2026Games will continue weekly on Fridays through August 21, 2026.
**NO PRACTICES/GAMES ON JULY 3 AND JULY 24, 2026**
CCPR will provide jerseys and shorts to all participants. All participants must wear tennis shoes while playing.
