Description
Formerly known as Art in the Park, Parks & Recreation continues the tradition and offers four days of back-to-back creative projects that feature different methods and mediums. This year's theme...'When Art Inspires Other Art'!
We'll reimagine the iconic stylings of various famous artists and combine them with the lure of the beach! Each day, campers will spend time learning a new technique, using high-quality materials while learning simple skills that inspire their creativity.
At the end of the program, all creations will be on display for parents, friends and family. Spaces are limited; register early. This camp is for 9-to-13-year-olds and is Monday - Thursday.
(Kaleidoscope Summer Camp is funded and supported by a grant from the Rappahannock Rapidan Community Services Prevention).
Note: Dress appropriately for messy art projects; feel free to bring water/beverage. If you are unable to attend any of the dates listed in the program, please let us know in advance; all supplies, time and instruction are specifically coordinated for all registered participants.
