Open to ages 2-12 -PLEASE REGISTER EACH CHILD THAT PLANS TO PARTICIPATE.
(if you have 3 kids, please register all 3, this helps the Easter Bunny know how much candy to bring. ALSO, be sure each child has an email address AND Text message set up on their profile, so any last minute event changes can be emailed / texted out)
Come join the Parks & Recreation staff & volunteers for a fun night of egg hunting egg-stravagance!
When the gates open at 5:30pm there will a "basket full" of vendors & activities to participate in and remember Bring your OWN egg hunting sack!
Each age group will have a specific scheduled Line Up time on separate fields.
Adaptive Field will LINE UP at 6:00pm. then be escorted on to the fieldAges 2-3 will LINE UP at 6:30pm and then be escorted on to the field.Ages 4-5 will LINE UP at 6:30pm and then be escorted on to the field.Ages 6-8 will LINE UP at 7:15pm and then be escorted on to the field.Ages 9-12 will LINE UP at 7:15pm and then be escorted on to the field.
Participants will will walk from the line up location, and be escorted across the first two soccer fields to the far soccer fields (closed to the road). Candy Hunters, will then line up on the painted line between the orange flags. They will wait until staff gives the signal (TBD) to start the hunt! Volunteers will ensure that no one starts before they are allowed.
**Remember - if you want your children to "hunt" together - they have to age UP. If you have a 5yr old and a 9yr old and you want to keep them together, then they will both hunt on the 9-12 field.
What is the ADAPTIVE FIELD???
The Adapted Candy Hunt Field designed for children ages 2 - 12 who may need a little more time, support, or space to enjoy the fun of gathering candy!
To make things easier for everyone, we’ll also have candy grabbers and balance support tools available to help kiddos reach candy and move around safely.
This field will be supported by amazing volunteers from Special Olympics Area 17 athletes, Compass staff, and the Reimagining Recreation team from CCPR.
We kindly ask that families be mindful and considerate when choosing this field. This space is intended for children who benefit from additional support, so everyone has a fair and joyful chance to participate.
Let’s make this a fun, inclusive experience for all!
Each field will have a "Golden Egg" or two. The child that finds the golden egg will get a special prize to be collected from the CCPR tent closest to the soccer fields.
Photos with the Easter Bunny will be available - bring your own camera.

We are still looking for Community, Craft, & Recreation Related Vendors.Must be a non-profit, or local organization / recreation related organization / or local artisan (no multilevel marketing companies).
