This class is sponsored by the Health Safety Institute or HSI brand CPR for Healthcare Providers. This can be taken by anyone but it is required for most Healthcare Providers such as doctors, nurses, and EMS Providers. You will learn all of the steps for CPR & AED use for infants, children, and adults. You will also learn how to use a bag valve mask and how to check for a pulse (not taught in the lay person CPR). Obtaining this certification requires that you pass the skills test as well as a written test.
Feel free to bring a snack/beverage to class. Certifications are EMAILED after the class; you must be sure to supply an accurate email address.
**Must be physically capable of doing chest compressions and not overly sensitive (passing out) to realistic looking blood and simulated injuries in the videos. Must be comfortable discussing death.**
