**Mountain Run Lake Park RegistrationWant your family to be the "Pumkings" and "Pumqueens" of Culpeper? Enter your family into the 2025 Pumpkin Carving Contest hosted by Culpeper County Parks & Recreation! Grab your family and friends and join us on Thursday, October 16, 2025 for a night of Halloween tunes, spooky snacks, and pumpkin carving. Pumpkin carving will take place at three of our county parks-Lenn Park, Mountain Run Lake Park, and Spilman Park. Sign up for the location most convenient for you!
Each entry will be given from 6:00pm-8:00pm to create their best Jack-O-Lantern design to be displayed at the 2025 Halloween Candy Hunt on Friday, October 17, 2025. Participants of the candy hunt will then vote on their favorite pumpkin design throughout the night. A winner will then be chosen prior to the start of the Candy Hunt.
Registration is $15.00 per family (up to 6 people) and will include ONE large pumpkin and basic carving tools. You may bring your own tools if you like. **Only one member of the family will register for the entire family/group.
Why stop at just carving pumpkins? Dress up in your favorite costume for a chance to win "Best Costume" of the night!
**One person will register the entire family/group for the program. You may bring your own tools if you like, but a basic kit will be provided. Small snacks will be provided by CCPR.
