Join Virginia All-State and All-American cheerleader, Summer Koontz for the Flipping Fridays intermediate tumbling and stunting classes. These classes are a once-a-week youth cheer-tumble and stunting program for cheerleaders looking to master level two cheer tumbling and stunting skills. These tumbling classes will take place each Friday (February 20th - April 17th, 2026) from 5:00pm-6:30pm.Cheerleaders must be able to perform AT LEAST one of the below skills independently (without a spot or assistance) to be considered a level two/intermediate tumbler:
- A standing bridge (and be able to kick over)
- A standing back walkover
- A standing front walkover

***This clinic will work independently with each cheerleader on the following skills (depending on which skills the cheerleader needs to work on):
Level Two Tumbling Skills:
- Back and front-handsprings
- Mastering back walkover and front walkover technique
- Back walkover and front walkover series (connecting multiple back walkovers and front walkovers together in a standing/running tumbling pass)
- Connecting level one to level two tumbling skills in a running tumbling pass (walkovers to handsprings)
- Jumps to tumbling (jumps connected to walkovers and handsprings)
Level Two Stunting Skills:
- Preps
- Extensions
- Flyer and base/back spot technique
- One-leg prep stunts
- Prep to extension stunts
- Specialty level two stunts
Please wear athletic clothing and tennis shoes. Bring a water bottle.
