About This Activity
This registration is for those in the Learn to train Slalom Program. You must have completed level 3 to enter this program. The goals for the group are to have fun, improve kayak skills and on-water safety awareness, to learn the Olympic sport of Canoe Slalom, to paddle beautiful bodies of water and to take on the challenge of some informal slalom races. Program Lesson Options: Lessons start on April 16 and are held on: Wednesday (5:30pm to 6:45pm) Flatwater (Corbould or Cultus Lake) Friday (5:30pm to 6:45pm) Flatwater (Corbould or Cultus Lake) Saturday - River Run or Park n Play on river (11:30am to 1:30pm or 2:30pm to 4:30pm). Lesson time will depend on number of youth and paddling ability of participants. Cookie Race is scheduled for Sunday June 22 (Cultus Lake). Fees include Coaching Fees for Salmon La Sac (June 6-8) Note that sessions may be rescheduled or replaced with a non-paddling alternative if the weather is inclement. Program fees: (Payment plans available) 2 flatwater sessions plus Saturday river (3 sessions per week) = Program Fees $900 (from April 16, last session August 30)(Some date exclusions) 1 flatwater session plus Saturday river (2 sessions per week) = Program Fees $625.00 (from April 16, last session August 30)(some date exclusions) 2 flatwater sessions only (2 sessions per week) = Program Fees $500 (from April 16, last session August 29)(some date exclusions) 1 flatwater session per week = $275 (from April 16, last session August 29)(some date exclusions) Payment Instructions: Please etransfer the program fees for the chosen program to ccekayak.fees@gmail.com or contact us and we will process your credit card manually.
