Description
The Culver City Parks, Recreation & Community Services Department presents our first Teen Mental Health Week! Our Teen Mental Health Week prioritizes a conversation about Mental Health and wellness for teens ages 12-17 through educational sessions with local organizations. This event is free to attend and will begin Monday, May 12-Friday, May 16 at Culver City Teen Center. Snacks and lunch will be provided on Wednesday May 14th. Mindfulness activities will be facilitated after the educational session that day.
Organizations include:
- Culver City Police Department
- Culver City Fire Department
- Culver City Mental Crisis Team
- Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health
- Cedars Sinai - Share & Care
- Insight Public Strategies
Participants who attend the entire week will be entered into a raffle. The winner will be announced at the end of the week. Teens may also earn 7 community service hours for attending this week-long event.
