Description
2026 Explorations in Printmaking
Margo Harrington & Louisa Wickard
At each of the classes we will design and use different printing methods on objects for the home. We’ll start by creating paper and cloth (furoshiki) gift wraps. In subsequent sessions participants are encouraged to provide items from their home to enliven with prints of their own design.
We’ll present concepts and provide inspiration, then we’ll each create various types of print plates. No prior print making skills are necessary.
Optional but encouraged materials list: cotton or linen napkins, tablecloth, apron, pillow cases, tote bag, tea towels, panels for curtains, light colored shirts, skirts or pants, kid’s clothes etc. There is a materials fee paid directly to the instructors of $25 unless participants provide materials of their own
