2025 PLEASANT MOUNTAIN RECREATIONAL SKI PROGRAM - TRANSPORTATION ONLYGrades 6 – 11Limited Enrollment 70 Youth / REGISTRATION OPENS WEDNESDAY, OCT 9 at 8:00am
Cumberland Recreation is offering recreational skiing on Wednesday Early Release Days.
This program is for those students who already hold a season pass to Pleasant Mountain and need transportation only.
Early Release Dates: Wednesdays - Jan.8, 15, 29 Feb. 5, 12 (Make up 2/26)
Buses depart from the Greely Middle School parking side lot Adjacent the MS Cafeteria at 1:45pm and return at 7:30pm.(Parents please check with neighbors and friends to drop off skiers, car – pooling during drop-off greatly reduces traffic congestion).
Coach buses will provide transportation.
Transportation Fee: $230
Helmets: Youth 12 & under - Mandatory helmet rule - Pleasant Mountain Policy
Rental Skiers: Parents are you thinking of buying equipment, but not sure? Please have your child fitted for boots and skis, it is much easier to tear up the form and refund your money than to have him/her fitted at a later date.
*Helmets are available for rent at an additional $30.00
Skiers with your own equipment: Ski bags are Mandatory, it greatly reduces the time we spend handling your equipment, which will provide you with more ski time.
Parents! If you enjoy skiing, we can provide skiing in exchange for some assistance with logistics of this program. Please call the Recreation Office 829-2208 to get your name on the chaperone list.
Deadline for Registration is Thursday, December 12th (if space is available, late registrations will be charged a $15.00 late fee.)
