About This Activity
Strengthen core reading skills and boost confidence this summer in our 2-student, 12.5-hour, hands-on, fun reading and writing workshop! In this course, we'll explore reading comprehension strategies and writing skills in an interactive way, employing tools used in today's classrooms. Using a student-chosen topic of interest, participants will create a presentation using Google Slides and Docs to practice grammar, sentence and paragraph structures, editing, and revising skills. Partnered activities, as well as individualized attention and tailored materials, make the learning personalized and fun. This practical application of reading and writing concepts will help your child start 5th grade in the fall with less stress and more assurance.
