About This Activity
Junior athletes can get a significant head start on their peers by developing their mental strength early on, rather than waiting until college or beyond. During this workshop, young females will be led by UTSW who will be offering tips, remedies and advice on how to handle mental challenges at a young age. Girls Empowered by Mavericks (G.E.M.) aims to engage, inspire, and empower young females using physical activity as a backdrop in their continued development and success.
