About This Activity

COURSE DESCRIPTION

This class is designed to prepare your child to deal with all emergencies and give them the skills to react to any future emergencies to help themselves and others around them. They will learn to recognize potential hazardous situations. They will learn the steps- Check, Call, and Care for all emergencies. They will learn to develop a plan and to prepare a disaster/first aid kit. The class covers how to perform first aid on conscious and unconscious victims. They will learn the signs of a heart attack and prevention. They Students will learn the steps to perform CPR on adults, children, and infants. The class will teach students how to perform first aid and how to prepare for natural disasters. Students will learn to bandage and splint and injury, and how to respond to emergency situations. We will create home emergency plans and learn valuable tips for home safety. Prevention of accidents will be taught as well. this is a fun and valuable class for all! them how to help a choking victim. Additionally, they will be instructed in emergency preparedness for emergencies/natural disasters and how to prepare for them. They will use provided materials to learn how to bandage others.
