The FSI program runs from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm daily during the three weeks of summer school (June 9-June 27, minus June 19). Daily programming is as follows: English class 8:00-10:00 Watercolor class 10:10-11:25 Study skills class 11:35-12:15 lunch 12:15-1:00 Math class 1:00-3:00 The cost of the FSI program is $800 and includes tuition, supplies, and lunch. Students will need to bring a laptop that complies with the school's student laptop requirements. The Watercolor class counts as 0.5 (one-semester class) credits toward the 1.0 credit of Fine Arts needed for graduation. FSI students will not be able to take an additional summer school class beyond the FSI program or an athletic performance camp during the month of June; since all incoming freshmen are limited to one summer school class and FSI includes the Watercolor class, they are not ending up 'behind' other students in any way in terms of credits earned.
