About This Activity
This NightLight course invites students in grades 2–4 to explore the art of origami while being introduced to basic Mandarin vocabulary. Each week, students will learn to fold one to two new origami projects — from animals to everyday objects — while practicing simple Mandarin words and phrases related to their creations. No prior experience with origami or Mandarin is needed — just curiosity and a willingness to learn!
