About This Activity

COURSE DESCRIPTION

Scholars is a remedial reading, writing and spelling program for individuals with learning differences. Each student is placed into small groups and receives two hours of tutoring by a trained paraprofessional, and one hour of small group auditory discrimination training. All new students entering the Scholars program must be pre-screened for accurate placement. These evaluations include tests in reading, writing and spelling. At the completion of the program, parents will receive a checklist of skills introduced and students strengths and goals.
