About This Activity
Get certified to be a lifeguard! Must be 15 years old (by 3/29). Will need to complete online portion PRIOR to 3/29. The online portion of the class will be open and available on 2/28. On 3/29 you will need to complete: -Continuous swim-tread-swim (Swim 150 yard - tread for 2 minutes (no hands) - swim 50 yards) -Timed event to swim 20 yards, retrieve 10lb object from 7-10 feet, swim the object back the 20 yards and exit the pool without the use of stairs or ladder. Upon completion of the online course and the entrance skills portion they will be admitted to the class for in-person skills and certification. Once complete they will be certified in: Lifeguarding, CPR/AED for the professional rescuer and first aid for 2 years.
