About This Activity
Come spend a day training, competing and getting a taste of the collegiate volleyball life. Sessions will be led by the SMU Coaching staff. It will be ran in SMU style using the same drills and techniques that train the SMU Volleyball team. Players will experience the speed, excitement, competition and style of a college practice. This 1-day camp will also include a Q&A with SMU staff and players that will cover a range of topics from “what to expect out of college volleyball?” “what are coaches looking for?” to practical ways to approach the recruiting process and best practices. Spend the day with us experiencing the real deal with SMU Volleyball. The camp will conclude with a fun competition where players can compete with and against other college hopeful athletes. The schedule for the day will look as follows (detailed email will be sent a week prior to camp starting). *Lunch will be provided. o 8:15a Check-in o 9-noon Session 1 o 12-1:30 lunch, campus tour, Q&A with SMU Staff & players o 1:30-3 Session 2 Players will be split up into different age/experience groups. This will allow it to be competitive and allow each individual to get a glimpse what it looks like to be a college volleyball player. Please email samergervbcamps@gmail.com with any questions.
