Get to know the SMU Volleyball staff, tour SMU's campus, check out the volleyball facilities and get a "mini" look at the ins and outs of SMU Volleyball. This camp is an ID (identification) camp that offers athletes that would like to learn about SMU or be seen by the SMU staff in a closer setting a chance to do that. This Mini ID camp is on and off court. In 3 hours attendees will do classroom sessions with SMU players and staff learning about the SMU Volleyball Experience and what college volleyball is like. They will also tour campus, learn how to be successful off the court in the weight room and classroom, and attend an open Q&A with current and former collegiate players. On court, attendees will go through the "SMU Style" of training each skill and play 6v6. Athletes should expect 1.5 hours of court time and 1.5 hours off court. Tentative Schedule (detailed schedule will be sent a week before): o 8a Check-in o 8:30-10 campus tour, classroom, and Q&A sessions with college players and staff o 10-11:30 on court training and 6v6 play Players will be split into groups that staff deem most appropriate based off age, experience, and skill.
