About This Activity
Chesterbrook Academy Staff will assist the Joy of Dance students with their Virtual Dance Class. Little dancers love this enchanting adventure in dance exploration. Children develop rhythm, grace, poise, coordination, and musicality through pre-primary classical ballet, beginning tap skills, tap routines, and improvisations with magical props. This Fall, our virtual classes September through October will feature a different Disney Princess Story and Ballet each week. November through December your little dancer will learn Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Suite Act 1. Act 1 features adorable Nutcracker Suite variations such as the Party Scene, Clara’s Friends Dance, Battle Scene Mice and Soldiers, Snow Scene, and Sugar Plum Fairy. Our dance class enriches your child in five areas of development: physical, creative, social, cognitive, and emotional. Your children will receive a gift that lasts a lifetime, the Joy of Dance! The dance season will include a Zoom Parent Watch day in December and a fun-filled Outdoor Recital in May!
