About This Activity
Period A: Beginner F1 Blockzone Robotics Racers start your engines! This class will build one small remote control F1 race car. We will explore many aspects of automotive engineering, and dive into what makes a fast car. Upon completion of the remote control cars, campers will have time to test and modify their cars before racing in the Athenian Grand Prix on the final day of class. Do you have what it takes to build the fastest car?!? This class is intended for beginners and intermediate block builders. Little to no experience required. Period B: Creative Writing and Improv This lively and creative class combines storytelling and improv to help campers stretch their imaginations and build confidence. You'll learn to write and narrate your own stories through fun writing exercises and activities, whether they are personal or completely fictional! Improv activities will support creativity, spontaneity, and collaboration, to help you gain confidence in expressing ideas on the fly. In a supportive and fun environment, you'll learn to trust your ideas and work as a team!
