About This Activity
Trail Blazers is filled with engaging activities that will give your child an unforgettable summer. Campers will participate in a variety of age-appropriate games, arts and crafts, and non-competitive outdoor activities. In a safe setting, Kindergarten-aged campers will be grouped together with an Instructor, Counselors and caring Counselors-in-Training (CIT). This program is specifically designed for our littlest camper’s developmental level. A positive camp experience will pave the way for your child’s future success as your child enters school in the fall. This is a great camp for little ones who love arts and crafts, enjoy sitting down and completing a short activity, and can follow directions away from their family in an age-expected fashion. These campers will be expected to use the bathroom on their own, eat lunch/snack with adult supervision (cost included in the price of registration, food restrictions can be accommodated), keep their hands to themselves, and (mostly) change into their swimsuits on their own (camp staff can minimally help if needed). Half-day campers will need to sign up for private swim lessons after camp, or as an “add on” during the 9-12:30pm block of time during registration if they want to participate in swim lessons. No off campus field trips for this camp. Campers can add breakfast, private swim lessons after camp hours (one-on-one lessons), extended care and bus transportation for an additional fee. Half-day campers can add group swim lessons during camp hours as well. SESSION 1 - Fairyland The story time classics are back and better than ever! We will be diving into the original children's books and completing activities with each story. Get ready to build a beanstalk, make the three pigs houses and have a bear's breakfast just like Goldilocks. We will even hike to our campus trollbridge and have a surprise from the troll that lives on campus!
