About This Activity
Period D: Creative Writing with Myths and Legends Step into a world of heroes, monsters, and magical stories! Campers will explore myths and legends from cultures around the world, using them as inspiration to create their own original stories every day. Campers will learn how to build strong characters and heroes, create exciting plots, and build creative worlds for their legends. Campers will get the opportunity to utilize cultural and family stories to bring a personal myth to life. No prior knowledge of mythology is required and writers of all levels are encouraged to join. Period D: Spanish Language and Culture ¡Vamos! Join us for a fun class where campers will jump into the Spanish language through games, conversation, and cultural activities. Whether you’re brand new to Spanish or already know a few words, you'll learn some basic conversational Spanish to start with. Campers will explore music, games, traditions, food, and everyday life from Spanish-speaking cultures, making language learning exciting! This class is all about curiosity and having fun while building real-world language skills.
