About This Activity
Period A: Gratitude Crafts There’s so much in life to appreciate and give thanks for! This class helps kids create fun and meaningful DIY (do-it-yourself) gifts for their loved ones using simple materials and creative ideas. Campers will enjoy crafting unique, heartfelt presents while learning creativity and hands-on skills, all while reflecting on what (or who) fills their hearts with gratitude. Period B: Creative Writing and Improv This lively and creative class combines storytelling and improv to help campers stretch their imaginations and build confidence. You'll learn to write and narrate your own stories through fun writing exercises and activities, whether they are personal or completely fictional! Improv activities will support creativity, spontaneity, and collaboration, to help you gain confidence in expressing ideas on the fly. In a supportive and fun environment, you'll learn to trust your ideas and work as a team!
