Our Dragonfly Teen Naturalists program, for ages 13-17, is back with an expanded schedule! This program supports teens as they navigate the journey from childhood to adulthood, and provides space for them to envision where they are going during this time of transition. Our hope for the teens in Dragonfly Teen Naturalists is for them to establish a strong connection to nature and to cultivate a sense of resilience, confidence, and passion for this phase in their lives. We will meet twice a month from September through May (just once in December). The program culminates in an overnight camping trip approximately an hour's drive from Davis. Please note: the increase in price over last year reflects the additional dates and extended hours, which many teens requested! Activities will include: -naturalist and earth living skills -nature connection routines -mindfulness practices -team building -small group sharing circles -nature journaling with prompts -music -cooking over the fire -games -hiking and exploring -swimming and rafting -animal tracking ----- If your family identifies as Black and/or Indigenous to North America, please use coupon code REPARATIONS for our Reparations-based discount, regardless of financial need. Because this program meets on Saturdays and includes an overnight camping trip at the end, homeschool charters usually refuse to cover it, but it's worth checking with them if you want. Specific dates: Saturdays, 2-7 pm September 13th and 20th October 4th and 18th November 1st and 15th Saturdays, 2-6 pm Dec 13th January 10th and 24th February 7th and 21st Saturdays, 2-7 pm March 7th and 21st April 4th and 18th May 2nd and camping trip May 16th-17th
