About This Activity
Chess Club – Beginners New to chess? This class is a great place to start! Students will learn the rules and basic strategies of chess, including how each piece moves, the geometry of the chessboard, opening principles, and how to checkmate. Through guided lessons, fun chess problems, and plenty of games against classmates and the teacher, students will build confidence and develop their skills. Suggested age: Lower Elementary
